The shop-tested ThermoGrip thermic tool clamping system provides the accuracy, reliability and convenience of heat-shrink joint fixing technology in a compact, economical system with rapid changeover time. Based on proportional temperature expansion of solid materials, shrinking provides the high, uniform clamping forces necessary for clamping cylindrical cutting tools into holders for high-speed machining. Using Bilz Clamping Chucks with the high-efficiency ThermoGrip induction unit provides proper fitting and releasing in both high-speed steel and carbide tools. The system replaces collets, hydraulic chucks and mill chucks.

Single Station ThermoGrip
The innovative Single Station ThermoGrip performs the same function as the popular ThermoGrip ISG 3000 system. What makes the Single Station system so practical is that it operates from 110-volt single-phase power, and uses a single cooling station. This economical unit is ideal for smaller shops, such as die and mold.
